Hart Brown solicitors celebrates 90 years

Staff across Hart Brown solicitors’ network of offices in Surrey and London are modestly but proudly celebrating the firm’s 90th year in business – quite an achievement – spanning World Wars and economic turmoil.

Managing Partner, Bettina Brueggemann, said, “Over the past 90 years Hart Brown has concentrated on providing a high-quality service combined with a friendly approach to its clients and I think that is why clients both trust and come back to us time and time again.”

A Guildford client of Hart Brown commented, “I have been using Hart Brown for over 25 years. In that time I have seen it grow beyond all recognition. Driving accidents in the snow and ice

Even the most experienced of drivers have been tested by this month’s treacherous, icy roads. No matter how carefully you drive, it is easy to lose control of your car in such conditions and before you know it, you have careered off the road or slid gracefully into the back of the car in front. Hart Brown’s Managing Partner wins national award

Bettina Brueggemann, Managing Partner of Hart Brown solicitors, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Managing Partner of the year’ by LawNet. Presenting this award John Thomas, Chief Executive of LawNet, said: ”The calibre of entries across all of the categories was excellent and there was stiff competition for this award, but Bettina’s entry stood out. Will Aid 2009

Due to the fantastic response that we have received to the Will Aid Scheme we have had to close our doors to any further Will Aid enquiries. Initial projections indicate that money raised by Hart Brown on behalf of the charities supported by Will Aid will be in the region of £10,000.

Shaun Parry-Jones, Partner in the Trust & Investment Department, said: "This is a superb effort by all concerned in the team. It is marvellous that the scheme has prompted more people to make or update their Wills and it is all in a good cause. It is a shame that we have had to close our doors to new Will Aid clients but it is important that we maintain a high standard of service. If we took any more clients on, the quality of service we offer would suffer and that must not be allowed to happen."
