Our systems
As a modern forward thinking law firm we recognise the importance of the intelligent use of IT in the fast delivery of quality professional services.
With a PC on every desk, each of our offices has its own Microsoft network (LAN). Each LAN is joined together with a fully integrated wide area network (WAN) via a series of megastreams in conjunction with Cisco switches - an infrastructure providing both speed and resilience.
All members of staff have immediate access to a relational database of client/matter financial and time records, electronic diary system, library address database and case management. We have a fully featured intranet and digital dictation and a bespoke toolbar means that work produced at any office can be typed from another office improving holiday cover and reducing turnaround times.
Using a combination of Microsoft and other software (some of which has been commissioned especially for us or written in house) our state of the art systems enable our lawyers to take full advantage of the most appropriate tools. All our offices have Ericsson switchboards which means that our telephone systems are as up to date as our data network.
Our use of IT is so advanced that we are often asked by our suppliers to comment on system design, test new software and act as a reference site. A firewall, ordinated approach to virus checking and spam filter ensure the integrity of our internal systems and the client data they contain.
