Types of Clinical Negligence Claims

The increasing number and complexity of treatments offered has resulted in many more ways in which things can and do go wrong. We have experience of dealing with all types of claims including those relating to the following:

  • inappropriate treatment
  • lack of informed consent to operations
  • botched operations
  • wrong diagnoses
  • use of the wrong or under qualified staff
  • misinterpreted tests/x-rays/scan results
  • mis-prescribed drugs
  • failure to treat sufficiently quickly

As things have become more complicated those involved with treatment have become increasingly specialised.

In order to prove that a specialist has been negligent it is usually necessary to find an expert in the same field to consider their conduct. We maintain a database of such experts who are not only real experts in their own field of medicine but are also highly experienced in preparing reports and appearing in Court.

To speak to someone who can help with your medical negligence claim, call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
