Woking Hospice - Make a will month
Woking Hospice - Make a will month - May 2011
Hart Brown is delighted to be working with Woking Hospice to offer a number of free wills throughout the month of May.
During the period of the scheme we will be offering 20 wills on a first come first served basis drawn up by one of our specialist solicitors. Hart Brown will not charge for the service and in return all we ask is for a donation to be made to Woking Hospice.
The recommended minimum donation to the Hospice is £100 for an individual’s will and £150 for a couple. This offer applies to simple straightforward wills. It is possible that additional charges may apply for more complex wills but we will let you know.
To take advantage of this opportunity and to benefit the Hospice, book now for your appointment at any time in May. The first 20 bookings will receive a will in return for a donation to Woking Hospice.
Call 01483 887766 or email wills@hartbrown.co.uk to make an appointment.
About Woking Hospice
There is a Hospice in Woking today because the local community spent five years raising money to build one. In 1990, Rhod Lofting, now a Trustee and Life President, launched an appeal for a local Hospice. After five years of fundraising, Woking Hospice welcomed its first patients in 1996.
Since then, the Hospice in Hill View Road has cared for over 30,000 local patients and their families, either in the hospice or in their own home.
Woking Hospice is not just a building, it is a way of caring for people. Hospice care aims to improve the lives of people whose illness may not be curable. It helps people to live as actively as possible after diagnosis to the end of their lives, however long that may be. The highest value is put on respect and choice.
Hospices not only take care of people's physical needs, they consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too. And they support families and close friends, both during the illness and in bereavement.
All care is provided free of charge and Woking Hospice's current annual running costs are £3million. Please help support your local Hospice, visit our website: www.wsbhospices.co.uk or call 01483 881750. Registered charity no. 1082798
