Management Buy Out
A Management Buy Out or MBO is the purchase of a business by the existing management team. This involves the purchase of the company’s shares.
If you are selling to an MBO team you will want to be sure that they have the finance to purchase the business. If you are the MBI team you may fund it from:
- outside sources
- injection of your own cash
- use of certain assets of the company
As you will be familiar with all aspects of the business the due diligence is usually not as detailed.
At Hart Brown our specialists will guide you through the process and make sure you understand how it works. We will help it proceed as smoothly as possible.
To speak to someone who can advise on a management buy out or any other legal matters relating to your business call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
