Other Injunctions
The most common types of other injunctions sought tend to relate to:
- employment claims where a senior employee intends to work for a competitor or set up in business on their own account and tries to entice major clients or other employees away in breach of their contract of employment or restrictive covenants
- landlord and tenant disputes where the court order seeks to prevent the tenant from committing a breach such as an unlawful assignment, the carrying out of unauthorised alterations or the unauthorised use of the premises.
- harassment situations preventing someone from threatening or harassing another person, going near that person or particular areas such as their home or workplace
Injunctions usually have to be obtained quickly to protect further harm or damage occurring.
We have many years of experience advising in these urgent situations. We can give unique, dynamic, practical and commercially aware advice. We understand the factors a court will take into account when deciding whether to grant an injunction and can advise you accordingly – as well as consider alternative approaches.
