Agricultural Land

There are many pitfalls when purchasing land that is designated as Agricultural Land.

Following economic difficulties experienced by farmers in recent times, it has become quite commonplace for tranches of farm land to be sold to individuals.

Points to watch out for however include:

  • severe planning constraints
  • issues surrounding third parties grazing animals on the land
  • agricultural tenancies
  • grants issued to the farmer
  • constraints over any associated woodland

At Hart Brown, our specialists will investigate the title thoroughly. We will make sure that any areas of concern are fully explained to you. This will prevent you having any difficulties when using the land at some point in the future.
