Freehold
Most houses are freehold properties. In other words they are owned outright and there is no landlord.
Once your offer has been accepted we will:
- check the title
- submit appropriate searches
- discuss with you your finances
- report back to you with all our findings
before you become legally obliged to purchase the property.
We will then proceed to exchange of contracts and then completion. Completion is the day you actually acquire the property and all funds are paid across.
At Hart Brown, we know that, at some point in the future, you may want to sell the property. We will therefore make sure that the property you buy is free from any problems that could jeopardise or delay a future sale.
We will provide you with full, clear and easy to follow reports to enable you to understand the paperwork behind the property that you are hoping to buy.
To speak to someone who can help with buying a freehold property call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
