Leases
A lease is a complex and lengthy legal document:
- entered into between a landlord and a tenant
- for the letting of a property
- for a certain period of time
The length of a lease can be as long as the parties want. Many residential leases are for 999, 125 or 99 years. They can however be for a much shorter period of time.
Leases will set out the rights and obligations of both parties and what rent is payable.
Whether you are a landlord or tenant you will want to be sure that your interests are protected.
At Hart Brown our specialists will make sure that the lease correct in all respects and if any changes are needed these are properly dealt with.
