Advice to Third Parties
A third party who is not a party to the mortgage should obtain independent legal advice on the nature of the mortgage and how it affects them. This is normally required by the mortgage company in any event.
If the borrower fails to pay the mortgage your interest in the property might be at risk.
If you think you might have acquired an interest in the property seek independent legal advice so that your position can be protected.
At Hart Brown our specialists help you consider your options if you are in no doubt about what you should or can do.
