Transfers on Death
When an owner of a property dies their interest in the property will be dealt with in one of two ways:
- it will pass according to their will or under the intestacy rules
- if it is held as joint tenants to the survivor
Before the property can be sold clear proof will be needed that the person selling has the right to sell.
