Statutory Declarations

A statutory declaration is a document which sets out evidence and which the person giving the declaration swears is correct.

They tend to be used when dealing with historical ownership of property or rights of way

Declarations must be in a particular format and it is important that they are completely correct. Getting it wrong could lead to contempt of court proceedings.

At Hart Brown we are able to attend to the swearing of Declarations and Affidavits in instances where they have been prepared by other firms of solicitors or organisations.

To speak to someone who can help with a statutory declaration call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
