Landlords Failure to Repair
If you find yourself in a situation where your landlord is simply failing to carry out repairs for which they are responsible under the lease or tenancy, you will be entitled to take steps to require them to comply with those obligations.
We regularly help tenants who face these problems. We will consider with them the most appropriate action to take including:
- claiming damages for breach of covenant
- seeking an order for specific performance
- self help and claiming a set-off
We always try to find the best course of action to suit the particular facts.
To speak to someone who can help with your landlord’s failure to repair call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
