Tenancies Connected to Employment

We regularly advise employees in relation to their rights under:

  • service occupancies
  • licences to occupy
  • agricultural or assured short hold tenancies

where these are connected to their employment.

Service occupancies and licences to occupy give the employee a personal licence to occupy the property but generally only for so long as they remain  employed by the employer.

Simply because a tenancy is called a service occupancy does not automatically mean that this is what it is.  This will depend on a number of factors.

We regularly advise employees whose employment has been terminated and who are being asked to vacate premises provided on their rights and what steps they should take.  We understand how worrying this situation is.

To speak to someone who can help with a tenancy connected to employment call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
