Employment Contracts
The relationship between an employee and employer is a very important one. It is always governed by some form of contract which can be oral, written or a mixture of the two and can last for an indefinite period of time (terminable by notice), or be for a fixed term.
Ideally the employment contract should be:
- in writing
- address as many aspects of the working relationship as possible
- as a minimum include the prescribed terms required by law
The specialist employment lawyers at Hart Brown can help:
- explain the terms of the proposed contract before you join a business
- consider with you any employee benefits or restrictions
- help you negotiate improved terms
- discuss any issues which arise during the course of your employment
- interpret existing contracts of employment.
