Holidays

We all enjoy our holidays and so any contract of employment should state how many days paid holiday an employee can take each year. The holiday year should be clearly defined as should any limitations on when holiday can be taken.

The law sets down a minimum amount of holiday to which everyone is entitled but many employers offer more. Part time employees do not lose out as their legal entitlement to holiday is on a pro-rata basis.

To speak to someone who can advise on your legal entitlement to holiday or any other employment related issue call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
