References

References are very important when changing jobs and employers can sometimes be difficult about providing them. Although an employer is not obliged to give a reference they do have to act consistently and ensure that what they say is correct and not misleading or wrong.

A failure to provide an accurate reference means that you might be entitled to bring a claim against your employer.

To speak to someone who can help with a problem relating to a reference or any other employment related issue call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
