Domestic Violence

When a relationship breaks down or if one party is violent to the other it may become necessary to apply to the court for an injunction.

Violence can take many forms. It is not limited to physical attacks but can include verbal abuse. It can be actual or simply threatened.

Applications are usually made where the harm is being inflicted by a spouse or former spouse, a cohabitant or former cohabitant or a son or daughter but there may be other situations where seeking a Non-Molestation or an Occupation Order is appropriate.

At Hart Brown our family law specialists can help you obtain an injunction. We can also provide advice if someone is seeking an injunction against you.  We understand that this is an emotional and traumatic time and appreciate the need to act quickly to protect you and your children.

To speak to someone who can help with domestic violence, call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
