Why create a trust?

Trusts can serve many different purposes, including to:

  • provide for an infant or young person
  • provide for a disabled person
  • provide for a person who lacks mental capacity
  • save tax
  • protect assets from being frittered away by a beneficiary
  • protect beneficiaries from inappropriate third party influence
  • protect assets from a beneficiary’s creditors
  • maintain control of assets whilst transferring their benefits

At Hart Brown we will look at the full picture and will then advise you on whether a trust is a suitable vehicle for achieving your objectives. If not, we will guide you on possible alternatives.

To speak to someone who can help you decide on whether a trust is suitable for your purposes call, email or request a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
