Redundancy Payment Calculator

At Hart Brown, we appreciate that redundancy is an all too common fact of life. Redundancy packages offered by employers can vary immensely. Such packages will nonetheless incorporate sums that you are entitled to by law, such as a statutory redundancy payment, and those to which you are entitled under your contract of employment, such as a payment in lieu of notice.

You are entitled to a statutory redundancy payment if you have been in continuous employment for 2 years or more. Your exact entitlement depends on your age and length of service. By completing the redundancy calculator form and pressing 'Calculate Redundancy Payment' you will be given a figure which represents the minimum redundancy payment you should receive.

Our calculator takes into account New Rates from February 1st 2008.
