Alyson’s area of expertise is trust and investment with wills, probate, powers of attorney, trusts and inheritance tax planning as her specialisms.
She is a member of the Law Society’s Probate Section.
Alyson particularly enjoys dealing with a variety of different people and recalls with fondness administering the affairs and then the estate of a reclusive millionairess who lined her cat litter trays with Marks & Spencer share certificates and lived on the contents of her weekly hamper from Fortnum & Mason.
Her client’s feedback frequently refers to the “excellent service” including how “efficient, prompt and helpful it was” and saying, “very much enjoyed working with you, extremely polite, businesslike and efficient”.
Having trained with a city firm, Alyson joined Hart Brown in January 2001 and is now the partner in charge of the Cranleigh office.
