Liz’s specialism is employment law acting for both employees and employers. “It is an ever changing area which makes it so interesting but also difficult for employers not to find themselves in difficulty” says Liz.
Liz is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the Industrial Law Society and Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates.
Her two most memorable cases involved a 15 day unfair dismissal hearing against senior counsel, and in contrast, obtaining out of court settlements for 3 clients exceeding £100,000.
Liz trained in London before becoming the sole employment lawyer for a regional firm and then becoming head of the employment department for a firm in Cambridge. She qualified as a solicitor advocate in 2009 and joined Hart Brown in October 2009
