Ursula is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives

Ursula joined Hart Brown in 2004 having worked for a number of organisations in the local area for some 15 years. Her initial role was as a secretary in the trust and investment department becoming an assistant a few years later and is now a fully qualified lawyer.

What advice would you give to a trainee solicitor starting their career now?

Be keen to soak up the information available and enjoy it – I think that being a lawyer is a passion and if you don’t have the passion don’t do it.
