Paul read law at Exeter University and qualified as a solicitor in 1987 passing his Law Society Finals with First Class Honours. He trained with Hart Brown and subsequently left to gain broader experience at a leading Sussex firm where he became a partner before returning to Hart Brown in 1989.

Paul has extensive experience of civil litigation and specialises in professional negligence being a member of the Law Society's Professional Negligence Referral Panel. Paul is Hart Brown's IT partner and an active member of the Society for Computers & Law.

He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and also deals with disputed wills/trust cases and is based at our Resolution House office in Guildford.

Paul has appeared on BBC and local radio as a "legal eagle" responding to listeners' queries. He is an ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Group Accredited Mediator.

He is married with three children. In his spare time he enjoys squash, renovating houses and travel.
