Roderick studied for his law degree at Nottingham Trent University completing his Solicitors Finals at Guildford College of Law. He joined Hart Brown in 1983 and became a partner in 1988.

Roderick specialised in property law at the firm's Cobham office for over 17 years and is now Head of Hart Brown's Commercial Property Department based at our Resolution House, Guildford office.

As part of his ongoing commitment to providing a high standard of service, in 2007 Roderick took on the arduous task of studying for and passing with distinction an LL.M Masters Degree in Advanced Commercial Property Law through Northumbria University.  Roderick achieved the highest combined score with his first four assignments and was awarded a prize by Butterworths/Lexis Nexis.

Roderick has always been a keen swimmer. In 1999, he was captain of a team of six that swam the English Channel. The team raised £5000 for the RNLI. He is married with 3 children.
