Employment Discrimination Solicitors

Employment discrimination

We offer specialist advice and assistance to employers in all areas of employment related discrimination.

Discrimination is one of the fastest changing areas of employment law affecting all aspects of the employment relationship including recruitment, training opportunities, promotion, pay and dismissal.

Employers need to be careful that they do not discriminate in particular against those who may have a protected characteristic such as disability, age, sex, pregnancy/maternity, sexual orientation, race, religion or belief.

You should always deal with discrimination issues promptly as getting it wrong can be costly both financially (because awards of damages in discrimination claims are uncapped) and in terms of damage to your company’s reputation. Having an up-to-date equal opportunities policy in place is essential. They are relatively inexpensive ( a fraction of the cost of a damages award) and offer protection for your business against the risk of being found liable for acts of discrimination carried out by your employees in the course of their employment.

Our experienced team of discrimination lawyers can provide your business with practical, commercial and cost-effective solutions at every stage of the process.

To speak to an employment law expert for help with a discrimination issue or any other employment matter call, email or request a callback.
