Settlement Agreement Solicitors

Employment Settlement Agreements

Not all employment relationships work out and sometimes it becomes necessary to part ways with an employee. Settlement agreements, commonly used in redundancy scenarios, can also be an effective way to formalise the terms of resolution in any employment dispute.

Our solicitors are experts in negotiating, drafting and advising on settlement agreements for a wide range of businesses and employees, including senior executives and company directors.

If an employee’s departure is part of a business restructuring, we will collaborate closely with our Commercial & Corporate team who can provide expert guidance on the restructuring process.

By taking the time to understand what you want to achieve, our solicitors will provide clear, commercial advice on the terms and implications of any settlement package under consideration. If appropriate, we will include post termination restrictions on the employee to protect the future interests of your business. We will ensure that the employee is not able to come back with a court or tribunal claim at a later date.

To speak to our dedicated solicitors about negotiating a settlement agreement, please call us on 01483 887766, email info@hartbrown.co.uk or start a live chat below. We look forward to hearing from you.
