Susan Stainsby

Susan is a qualified CIPD HR professional and is responsible for the firm's HR and Facilities functions. She has a wealth of generalist HR and pensions experience gained in the Legal sector, charities and publishing.

Susan joined Hart Brown in 2014 and works closely with the senior management team, giving advice at both operational and strategic level.

Head of Residential Property

Hart Brown has been celebrating its 100th year this year, and we are now looking to the future. As part of our succession planning we are recruiting for someone with the potential to become head of department for our very busy and successful Residential Property department.

This is an opportunity to shape the department ready for the next 100 years and to build on the strong reputation and skill set within the team.

This role will involve setting the long term objectives for the department and contributing to the firm’s overall strategy.

The head of department manages staff across our 5 offices, leads and encourages business development and ensures the professional development and compliance of the team.

We would like to hear from solicitors or partners with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE in residential property with demonstrable experience of managing staff and excellent business development skills.

We offer a competitive salary, 28 days annual leave, life insurance and private health.
