Professional Negligence

Professional Negligence Claims

We understand that being let down by a trusted professional is disappointing and frustrating. It is worse still if that professional has already been paid but their mistakes have ended up leaving you significantly out of pocket.

Professional negligence claims are all too often met with dismissive, sometimes even aggressive responses. Our professional negligence experts can help cut through the jargon that may be used to put you off continuing with your complaint. Despite the complexity of some of these claims we will make things as straightforward as possible keeping you fully informed every step of the way.

Since not every mistake made by a professional person involves negligence you need to use specialist professional negligence lawyers like those at Hart Brown to advise you whether you have a claim or not. If we do not think it is worth your while to make a negligence claim we will tell you at the earliest opportunity.

Using our dedicated team of specialist professional negligence solicitors often results in the other side backing down and facing up to their professional responsibilities at a much earlier stage. Although we do take cases to trial when necessary we are always alive to other ways of settling cases for example with the use of round table meetings, well pitched tactical offers or mediation to get you the compensation you deserve.

Every case is important to us. We act for clients locally, nationally and internationally. We often have clients referred to us by other lawyers including from city firms. We deal with all types of professional negligence litigation including claims against:

  • Accountants
  • Architects
  • Doctors and other health professionals
  • Engineers
  • Financial Advisers
  • Insurance brokers
  • Solicitors and barristers
  • Surveyors

If there are a number of different professionals involved in a particular project you can often get into a situation of them blaming each other. That is why you need to instruct specialist lawyers like those at Hart Brown who, with the benefit of appropriate expert advice, will be able to determine where the fault really lies.

To speak to a specialist professional negligence expert who can help you with your professional negligence claim contact us today by calling, emailing or requesting a call back from one of our specialist lawyers.
