For couples who wish to live with each other without marrying, we can offer advice on cohabitation agreements. Cohabitation agreements are legal documents that outline what happens if the relationship were to break down. We can suggest what you might like to include, such as property and financial agreements, and how to discuss this with your partner.
If your relationship were to break down, we are able to help with civil partnership dissolution. Our civil partnership solicitors can assist in the negotiation of a settlement agreement, which can cover the division of assets, property and financial arrangements for children. We will work with you to ensure that any settlement agreement reflects your needs and is in the best interests of any children involved.
At Hart Brown, our team of civil partnership lawyers will explain your rights and responsibilities in an understanding and straightforward way. We specialise in pre and post-civil partnership agreements, which can help to avoid disputes in the event of a dissolution or relationship breakdown.
