Hart Brown three time finalists at LawNet awards

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we can announce that Hart Brown is a finalist in three categories at the LawNet awards. We have been nominated for Team of the Year for our Strategic Brand team, for Young Lawyer of the Year for Danielle Collett-Bruce, and for the second year in a row the LawNet Mark of Excellence award. The Mark of Excellence award is independently assessed on various criteria and we are one of only three firms up for this award so it is an honour to be in the running.

Nigel Maud, Chief Operating Officer and partner said: “I am delighted that our Strategic Brand Team and our young solicitor Danielle Collett-Bruce have been awarded finalist status at the LawNet awards. The awards ceremony is being held on the 11 November.

Nigel read Psychology and Politics in South Africa. He went on to qualify as a solicitor in 1995 and initially practiced as a prosecutor before moving into private practice where he specialised in commercial work. He then moved into the business recovery and restructuring department at Pricewaterhouse Coopers broadening his understanding further of the problems and challenges a business faces.

Relocating to England in 1999 Nigel joined Hart Brown in 2002 and became a partner in 2004.
