Susan Stainsby

Susan is a qualified CIPD HR professional and is responsible for the firm's HR and Facilities functions. She has a wealth of generalist HR and pensions experience gained in the Legal sector, charities and publishing.

Susan joined Hart Brown in 2014 and works closely with the senior management team, giving advice at both operational and strategic level.

    Eva is CIPD qualified having worked for several years within an HR setting, she also has a great deal of client facing experience. Alongside the day to day HR administration, Eva works to support the firm's wellbeing initiatives, Health & Safety obligations and the firm-wide learning and development programme.

      Residential Property Solicitor – Cobham office

      We are looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our  busy Cobham office.

      A successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with in-depth technical experience of a full range of cases such as sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.  Being able to run your own files is essential, as well as being able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and fine attention to detail.

      Good business development and networking skills are also useful in order to contribute to the department’s continued growth.

      You will be working as part of a dedicated and friendly team across all of our offices. With our supportive and encouraging work culture, there are opportunities for progression within the firm.

       

      Legal Secretary, Private Client, Cranleigh office

      We are currently looking for an experienced Legal Secretary for our Private Client department in our busy Cranleigh office.

      This role will involve assisting fee earners in their day-to-day work by providing support and an efficient secretarial and administrative service.  The role will also include assistance with reception duties. This position would suit someone who is looking to work within a small, friendly and busy team in the heart of Cranleigh village.

      Some of the key responsibilities will cover:

      • Providing full secretarial support, including using a digital dictation system to produce correspondence and other documentation.
      • Maintenance of comprehensive and accurate client admin files.
      • Assistance with Receptionist duties which will include meeting and greeting clients, taking calls through the switchboard, directing enquiries accordingly and arranging meeting room bookings.
