The types of commercial disputes we handle

We work with businesses across many sectors, offering tailored advice on a range of disputes, including:

Contractual business disputes

Disputes over contracts can arise with suppliers, agents or customers. Our team of contract dispute lawyers will review the terms of your agreement, advise on your rights and obligations and take action to enforce or defend claims. Wherever possible, we seek practical resolutions without resorting to lengthy litigation.

Shareholder and Director disputes

Internal disagreements can place significant strain on a business. Our director dispute solicitors regularly advise on matters involving breach of confidence, shareholder rights, conflicts of interest and covenant issues. We understand the importance of protecting both the business and individual relationships and we aim to resolve matters swiftly and discreetly.

Franchise disputes

Franchise arrangements can sometimes lead to disagreements over contractual obligations, operational expectations or rights under the franchise agreement. Our franchise dispute solicitors support both franchisors and franchisees, helping to resolve issues while safeguarding your commercial interests and preserving valuable partnerships where possible.

Mergers and acquisitions

Disputes can also arise out of mergers and acquisitions, including disagreements over warranties and post-completion obligations. Our solicitors provide clear advice on managing risks, enforcing contractual rights and reaching fair resolutions to ensure that your long-term objectives remain on track.
